New guidelines on port operations for Terminal 1 Berth 11

Calaca Industrial Seaport Corp has advised on new guidelines for port operations (solid cargoes shipment) at Terminal 1 Berth 11.

Max. Limits at Terminal 1 Berth 11
a) Arrival DWT limit: 55,000DWT with a Maximum Length Over-All (LOA) of 218 meters
b) Arrival Draft: 11.00 meters at high tide (refer to Daily Tide Table from www.tideforecast.com)
c) Loaded Trucks and Equipment: 38 metrics ton (gross weight). Loaded trucks should depart the pier deck once loading is completed to avoid congestion.
d) No. of trucks along trestle: Two (2); one loaded and one empty.
e) No. of trucks at pier deck: Six (6) along the old pier deck and should be at least 20 meters apart. Tailgating is prohibited.
f) Speed limit: 15kph.
g) Items c, d, e and f are applicable to trucks that are bunkering, loading molasses and other chemicals that are entering Terminal 1
h) Stockpile height at Pier deck: 1.85m

Stockpile height variations and allowances depending on commodity and other details can be discussed further in pre-arrival meetings.

Maximum Height Limit of Cargo on berth:

Salt - 2,200kg/m^3, 0.841m (rectangular), 2.190m (trapezoidal), 2.523m (triangular)

Gypsum - 3,000kg/m^3, 0.617m (rectangular), 1.606m (trapezoidal), 1.850m (triangular)
