The Sri Lankan Naval Ship SLCGS Suraksha is scheduled for a sea firing exercise between 0900 and 1700 hours local time on Wednesday (14 July).
The exercise will be conducted within an area defined by the following coordinates: 07 19’N, 79 10’E, 07 16’N, 79 30’E, 07 06’N, 79 30’E, 07 03’N, 79 10’E
Surface clearance required (safety margin) is 2.15 NM.
All merchant vessels, tender boats, tugs, all types of fishing boats and other vessel anchored or operating in the above sea area should keep well clear until the naval exercise is complete.
