For approximately 24 months, marine works involving marine site investigation and marine bore pile works will be carried out within the following works areas:
WORKS AREA 1
This area is bounded by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (D) and the adjacent shorelines:
(A) 22° 22.610’N / 114° 11.198’E
(B) 22° 22.574’N / 114° 11.225’E
(C) 22° 22.562’N / 114° 11.196’E
(D) 22° 22.601’N / 114° 11.175’E
WORKS AREA 2
This area is bounded by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (E) to (H) and the adjacent shoreline:
(E) 22° 22.657’N / 114° 10.766’E
(F) 22° 22.655’N / 114° 10.763’E
(G) 22° 22.697’N / 114° 10.732’E
(H) 22° 22.701’N / 114° 10.736’E
The works will be carried out on temporary working platforms erected across the river channel. Yellow flashing lights will be installed at the four corners of each working platform to indicate its position.
Silt curtains which are large pieces of netting to contain mud and sediments extending from the sea surface to the seabed will be established within the works areas. Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights will be laid to mark the extent of the silt curtains.
The hours of work will be from 0700 to 1900 hours. No works will be carried out on Sundays and public holidays.
Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution.
