Marine works at Urmston Road

For approximately three months, marine works involving preparation works for the subsea pipeline laying will be carried out along the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (D):
(A) 22° 25.312’N 113° 53.631’E
(B) 22° 25.150’N 113° 53.056’E
(C) 22° 24.873’N 113° 52.572’E
(D) 22° 24.416’N 113° 52.287’E

The works will be carried out by one special purpose vessel. One tugboat and two guard boats will provide assistance.

A working area of approximately 100 metres around the special purpose vessel will be established. Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights and radar reflectors will be laid to mark the positions of the anchors extending from the special purpose vessel.

The hours of work will be round-the-clock.

Vessels engaged in the operations will display signals as prescribed in international and local regulations.

Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution.
