Marine site investigation south of Ma Wan

For approximately two months, marine site investigation works involving drilling of boreholes [are being] carried out in the following locations (WGS 84 Datum):
(A) 22° 20.741’N 114° 04.148’E
(B) 22° 20.706’N 114° 04.163’E
(C) 22° 20.705’N 114° 04.114’E
(D) 22° 20.631’N 114° 03.932’E
(E) 22° 20.633’N 114° 03.879’E
(F) 22° 20.592’N 114° 03.879’E
(G) 22° 20.553’N 114° 03.727’E
(H) 22° 20.502’N 114° 03.626’E
(I) 22° 20.396’N 114° 03.387’E

The works [are being] carried out by two jack-up barges. One tugboat provides assistance.

A working area of approximately 50 metres around each barge [is] established. Yellow flashing lights [are] installed at the four corners of each barge to indicate its position.

The hours of work [are] from 0800 to 1800 hours. No works [are being] carried out on Sundays and public holidays. Vessels employed for the works stay in the works locations outside the hours of work.

Vessels engaged in the operations display signals as prescribed in international and local regulations.

Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution.
