Marine site investigation off Lung Kwu Sheung Tan

For approximately two months, marine site investigation works involving drilling of vibrocores and boreholes will be carried out in the following locations (WGS 84 Datum):
(A) 22° 24.218'N / 113° 54.036'E
(B) 22° 24.116'N / 113° 54.048'E
(C) 22° 24.010'N / 113° 54.088'E
(D) 22° 23.973'N / 113° 54.304'E
(E) 22° 23.908'N / 113° 54.100'E
(F) 22° 23.783'N / 113° 54.049'E
(G) 22° 23.809'N / 113° 54.171'E
(H) 22° 23.762'N / 113° 54.358'E
(I) 22° 23.670'N / 113° 54.249'E
(J) 22° 23.569'N / 113° 54.283'E
(K) 22° 23.503'N / 113° 54.324'E
(L) 22° 23.493'N / 113° 54.411'E
(M) 22° 23.487'N / 113° 54.525'E

The works will be carried out by one flat-top barge and one jack-up barge. One tugboat will provide assistance. Vessels engaged in the works will display signals as prescribed in international and local regulations.

A working area of approximately 50 metres around each barge will be established. Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights will be laid to mark the positions of the anchors extending from the flat-top barge. Yellow flashing lights will be installed at the four corners of the jack-up barge to indicate its position.

The hours of work will be from 0700 to 1900 hours. No works will be carried out on Sundays and public holidays. Vessels employed for the works will stay in the works locations outside the hours of work.

Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution.
