Marine site investigation at Junk Bay

For approximately three months, marine site investigation works involving soil sampling and in-situ testing will be carried out in the following locations (WGS 84 Datum):
(A) 22° 17.654’N / 114° 15.085’E
(B) 22° 17.722’N / 114° 15.140’E
(C) 22° 17.819’N / 114° 15.861’E
(D) 22° 17.799’N / 114° 15.877’E
(E) 22° 17.772’N / 114° 15.915’E
(F) 22° 17.749’N / 114° 15.970’E

The works will be carried out by two jack-up barges and one work boat. One tugboat will provide assistance. Vessels engaged in the works will display signals as prescribed in international and local regulations.

A working area of approximately 50 metres around each barge will be established. Yellow flashing lights will be installed at the four corners of each barge to indicate its position.

The hours of work will be from 0700 to 1900 hours. No works will be carried out on Sundays and public holidays. Vessels employed for the works will stay in the works locations outside the hours of work.
