AD Ports Group have announced that marine construction activities will be conducted within the harbour basin at Jebel Dhanna Port from 22 October until further notice.
The work involves the construction of floating pontoons and slipways in the port basin.
The planned work will not affect vessel movements in the port and navigational channel.
All vessels/crafts shall navigate with caution, keep well clear of the construction area and maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 08.
All movements will be coordinated with Al Dhafra Ports VTS. Mariners must adhere to all applicable rules and regulations, Khalifa Port Harbour Master directions and VTS instructions at all times.
Mariners are advised to temporarily update related BA charts (BA 3722, 3780) and related/adjoining charts.
