The low over Northwest Bay and adjoining West Central Bay off Odisha Coast now lies over coastal Andhra Pradesh and adjoining Odisha as a well-marked low. Under its influence, steep pressure gradient persist over North Bay and adjoining areas. Squally weather may affect the maritime ports, North Bay and adjoining coastal areas of Bangladesh.
The maritime ports of Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been advised to keep hoisted Local Cautionary Signal No. Three (R) Three.
All fishing boats and trawlers over North Bay have been advised to come close to the coast and proceed with caution until further notice.
