LNG import operations set to begin

28 Feb 2023 / Dhamra, India

Adani Total Private Ltd will receive its first LNG cargo at the Dhamra terminal in April and commercial operations are expected to begin 30-45 days thereafter.

The start-up of the 5 was originally planned for September 2021.

The 5 million tonnes per annum LNG import terminal will be the Adani Group's first LNG import terminal, boosting gas use in India's east where the Dhamra project is only the second import terminal. The country's five other import terminals are on its western coast.
