From 24 November 2023, a new version of the “eSeaGo” mobile application developed by the Marine Department (MD) is available for the public to download free of charge. The latest version enables members of the public to display chart information on Hong Kong waters with improved user experience and enhanced functionalities.
The "eSeaGo" is a free mobile application that offers a simple and convenient solution for displaying chart information for Hong Kong waters. Through the "eSeaGo", users can download the chart information provided by the Hydrographic Office of the Marine Department and display it online or offline. With the mobile device's positioning function, the "eSeaGo" can provide assistance for vessels sailing in Hong Kong waters.
The “eSeaGo” provides content and information in raster format which should not be used as a substitute for paper charts or electronic navigational charts. The “eSeaGo” is not designed to be used for navigational purposes or as a substitute for any navigational equipment that is required under applicable regulations or laws.
