Kuwait Immigration has now resumed issuing SIGN OFF visa for all vessels calling at Mina Al Ahmadi and Mina Abdulla oil terminals, provided that their e-tickets are arranged for the same day they disembark from the vessel.
Hotel accommodation is not permitted. Off-signers will be taken directly from the port to the airport. Flight availability from Kuwait to the required destination to be arranged by manning agents and advised in advance. 72 hours’ notice (working days – Sun to Thu) is required.
GAC Kuwait disembark off-signers upon the vessel’s arrival at anchorage (launch charges will be applicable) or upon berthing. The Master should issue a statement to each crew member separately, stating crew name, rank, destination airport, that they are free of any COVID-19 symptoms and their latest body temperature.
The visa ban for on-signers is still in force.
