Installation of mooring dolphins

With effect from 28 Dec 2020 to 31 Mar 2021, the installation of mooring dolphins will be carried out at Marina Bay Cruise Centre, within the working area bounded by the following coordinates:

  1. 1° 15.816’N / 103° 51.657'E
  2. 1° 15.895’N / 103° 51.760'E
  3. 1° 15.830'N / 103° 51.814'E
  4. 1° 15.750'N / 103° 51.704'E

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.099 of 2020, works will be conducted 24 hours daily, including Sundays and public holidays.

Crafts involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals. The installation works will be carried out by the piling and crane barge whilst the materials will be transported to the working area by tug and barge. A safety boat will be deployed in the vicinity to warn other craft about the works.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:

a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;

b) Maintain a proper lookout;

c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;

d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 12 (East Control); and

e) Communicate with East Control for assistance, if required.
