Work to install a floating dock at ASL shipyard is being carried out until 31 December.
According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.95 of 2023, the work is being conducted from 0800 to 1900 hours daily - including Sundays & public holidays - at the following positions (WGS 84 Datum):
1 01° 17.804'N / 103° 45.155'E
2 01° 17.806'N / 103° 45.170'E
3 01° 17.744'N / 103° 45.179'E
4 01° 17.742'N / 103° 45.163'E
The installation of floating dock will be carried out by crane barge and supported by tug boats.
Craft involved in the works exhibit the appropriate local and international day signals.
When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the work area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 18 (Pasir Panjang Control);
and
e) Communicate with Pasir Panjang Control for assistance, if required.
