Installation of floating deck structures off Cruise Bay

From 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022, work to install floating deck structures will be carried out off the northern shore of Cruise Bay, within the working area bounded by the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum):

3) 01° 15.826'N / 103° 49.005'E
4) 01° 15.830'N / 103° 49.007'E
5) 01° 15.830'N / 103° 49.012'E
6) 01° 15.848'N / 103° 49.012'E
7) 01° 15.847'N / 103° 49.005'E
8) 01° 15.857'N / 103° 49.005'E
9) 01° 15.862'N / 103° 49.009'E
10) 01° 15.986'N / 103° 49.048'E
11) 01° 15.996'N / 103° 49.054'E
12) 01° 15.998'N / 103° 49.024'E
13) 01° 15.992'N / 103° 49.012'E
14) 01° 15.865'N / 103° 48.990'E
15) 01° 15.869'N / 103° 48.991'E
16) 01° 15.831'N / 103° 48.968'E

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.069 of 2021, the working hours will be from 0800 to 1900 hours, Monday to Saturday.

Floating deck structure will be installed with the use of crane barge supported by work boats and tug boats.

Diving operations may be carried out during the course if the installation during daylight hours only.

A safety boat will be deployed in the vicinity of the working area to warn other vessels of the work.

Craft involved in the work will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear of the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and to navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 5 (Cruise Bay Control);
and
e) Communicate with Cruise Bay Control for assistance, if required.
