Industrial action affecting ports & airports

30 Jan 2023 / United Kingdom

Members of the Public and Commercial Services (PCS) union will go on strike on Wednesday (1 February).

This action will include Home Office members, including Border Force, and will disrupt movement of people and goods through UK ports and airports, with the disruption likely to spill into Thursday 2 February.

If you are moving crew and/or goods on these dates, please be aware of the likely disruptions the strikes will cause and ensure you allow plenty additional time for any arrangements you have in place. Alternatively, if you can move your goods / crew outside of this period, then you are advised to do so to avoid disruption.
