Hydrographic Sounding Survey at Ting Kau Bridge, Tsing Ma Bridge and Kap Shui Mun Bridge

With effect from 17 August and for a period of approximately 1 month, hydrographic sounding survey will be carried out in the following areas:

Works Area 1: This area is bounded by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (D):

(A) 22deg 21.947’N 114deg 04.830’E

(B) 22deg 21.801’N 114deg 04.907’E

(C) 22deg 21.730’N 114deg 04.749’E

(D) 22deg 21.876’N 114deg 04.673’E

Works Area 2: This area is bounded by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (E) to (L):

(E) 22deg 21.120’N 114deg 04.145’E

(F) 22deg 20.871’N 114deg 04.227’E

(G) 22deg 20.818’N 114deg 04.042’E

(H) 22deg 20.866’N 114deg 04.026’E

(I) 22deg 20.921’N 114deg 04.137’E

(J) 22deg 21.018’N 114deg 04.107’E

(K) 22deg 21.045’N 114deg 03.991’E

(L) 22deg 21.073’N 114deg 03.981’E

Works Area 3: This area is bounded by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (M) to (P):

(M) 22deg 20.760’N 114deg 03.347’E

(N) 22deg 20.627’N 114deg 03.447’E

(O) 22deg 20.537’N 114deg 03.310’E

(P) 22deg 20.669’N 114deg 03.209’E

The works will be carried out by one work boat. The working hours will be from 0800 to 1900 hours. No works will be carried out on Sundays and public holidays. The work boat will not stay in the work areas outside the working hours. Vessel engaged in the operation will display signals as prescribed in international and local regulations.

Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution and at slow speed.
