Hurricane Ida caused quite a bit of damage throughout the New Orleans area. Currently New Orleans, Pascagoula, and Mobile are all closed. New Orleans could take some time to get back to normal.
According to the New Orleans conference call at 15:00 LT on 30 August provided by the New Orleans Board of Trade, port condition Zulu remains in effect. At this time, there remains no indication as to when the Coast Guard will be changing the port status to re-open the river.
