Handling of iron ore, extension of concessional tariff

The Board of Trustees, Mormugao Port Trust, have resolved to extend the concession for handling of iron ore at West of Breakwater (WOB)… …with effect from 1 October 2020 till June 2021 or till last arrival of vessel at West of Breakwater, as weather/monsoon permits, during the export season 2020-2021.

The concessional tariff is applicable for import/export of iron ore on foreign/coastal vessels at WOB.

The concessional tariff is as below:

VESSEL RELATED CHARGES

1(a) PORT DUES
- Per GRT (US$)
- Concession: 75% (25%* + 50%)
[* 25% concession for vessels in ballast as per SOR]

1(b) PILOTAGE
- Per GRT (US$)
- Concession: 90%

1(c) ANCHORAGE CHARGES
- Per GRT/Hour (US$)
- Concession: 50%

CARGO RELATED CHARGES

2(a) WHARFAGE
- Per Tonne
- Concession: 15%

2(b) TRANSHIPPER CHARGES
- Per Tonne
- Concession: 75%

2(c) CHLD CHARGES
- Per Tonne
- Concession: NIL
