Mariners are advised that contractors instructed by Gravesham Borough Council will stage a firework display in Gravesend Reach on Friday 5 November 2021.
Fireworks will be launched from Port of London Authority (PLA) vessel LONDON TITAN, which will be moored off Gordon Promenade. The firework display is expected to commence at 2000 and be of 20 minutes’ duration.
A safety zone will be established between approximately 1945 and 2030. During this time period, no vessel is to enter the safety zone, except with the express permission of either London VTS or the attending PLA Harbour Service Launch.
Vessels already secured on their allocated moorings within the safety zone may remain at the Owners’ own risk but must not be underway at any time while the safety zone is in force.
