Further industrial action at Qube Ports

Further Industrial action has been announced at Qube Ports in Adelaide, Brisbane, Darwin and Port Kembla for seven days from 00:01 on 13 December, including a 24-hour stoppage from 0700 on 16 December.

ADELAIDE
1. 8-hour stoppage from when vessel ties up at the berth.
2. Only 8-hour shifts to be worked.
3. Work only to commence at 0700, 1500 & 2300.
4. No shift extensions.
5. Ban on performance of shift pre-starts.
6. No work during meal breaks or other breaks.
7. Once start time is ordered, no variation to that start time will be accepted.
8. No call-ins outside of allocated shifts will be accepted.
9. No transfer between berths or sites once allocated to work.
10. 4-hour stoppage commencing 0700 Monday 16 December. (New)
11. 8-hour stoppage commencing 1100 Monday 16 December. (New)
12. 12-hour stoppage commencing 1900 Monday 16 December. (New)
13. 1-hour stoppage at 1130 Friday 13 December. (New)
14. 1-hour stoppage at 1930 Friday 13 December. (New)
15. 1-hour stoppage 0330 Monday 14 December. (New)
Points 10-12 equal a 24-hour stoppage commencing 0700 Monday 16 December to 0700 Tuesday 17 December.

BRISBANE
1. 8-hour stoppage from when the vessel ties up at the berth.
2. Only 8-hour shifts to be worked.
3. Work only to commence at 0700, 1500 & 2300.
4. No shift extensions.
5. Ban on performance of shift pre-starts.
6. No work during meal breaks or other breaks.
7. Once start time is ordered, no variation to that start time will be accepted.
8. No call-ins outside of allocated shifts will be accepted.
9. Ban on the performance of Grade 5, 6 and/or 7 upgrade work.
10. Will only drive up to 15km/h on the wharf for PCC/RoRo ops.
11. No transfer between berths and sites once allocated to work.
12. No use of personal phones for work purposes whilst on shift.
13. Stoppage of work from 2300 to 0700, from 2300 Friday 13 December to 0700 Sunday 15 December.
14. 1-hour stoppage of work at 0530,1330 & 2130 daily, from 0530 Friday 13 December.
15. 24-hour stoppage commencing 2300 Sunday 15 December. (New)

DARWIN
1. 8-hour stoppage from when the vessel ties up at the berth.
2. Only work 8-hour shifts to be worked.
3. Work only to commence at 0700, 1500 & 2300.
4. No shift extensions.
5. Ban on performance of shift pre-starts.
6. Once start time is ordered, no variation to that start time will be accepted.
7. No call-ins outside of allocated shifts will be accepted.
8. 1-hour stoppage each day at 0600.
9. 24-hour stoppage commencing 0700 Monday 16 December. (New)

PORT KEMBLA
1. 8-hour stoppage from when the vessel ties up at the berth.
2. Only work 8-hour shifts to be worked.
3. Work will only commence at 0700, 1500 & 2300.
4. No shift extensions.
5. No shift pre-starts.
6. No work during meal breaks or other breaks.
7. Once start time is ordered, no variation to that start time will be accepted.
8. No call-ins outside of allocated shifts will be accepted.
9. No upgrades to Grade 7 (Supervisor).
10. Will only drive up to 15km/h on the wharf for PCC/RoRo operations.
11. No transfer between berths or sites once allocated to work.
12. No use of personal phones for work purposes while on shift.
13. Ban on ordering back an employee for a subsequent shift whilst on shift as per EBA clause 1.6.9 of Part B.
14. Stoppage of work each night from 2300 to 0700, from 2300 Friday 13 December.
15. 1-hour stoppage each day at 1200 & 2000, from 1200 Friday 13 December.
16. 24-hour stoppage from 0700 Monday 16 December. (New)
