Free time after berthing

Free time allowed to vessels after berthing prior cargo commencement is 2 hours. The vessel should be ready to commence cargo operations within 2 hours of all made fast time of the vessel.

To facilitate the trade and as er request from valued customers, AKPL [Adani Krishnapatnam Port Ltd] has decided to revise the allowed free time to 3 hours in BPTS point 9.1 in page no.16:

“A vessel should be ready for commencement of cargo operation in all respect within 3 hours of all fast time. In case the vessel cannot commence her cargo operation within 3 hours, layup berth hire charges as per Port Tariff shall be applicable.”

The above will become applicable from 0001 hours of 18 May 2021 for all ships which arrive Krishnapatnam Port on or after 0001 hours of 18 May 2021.
