Flooding recovery update (17 March)

Aids to Navigation re-establishment, debris removal and survey operations continue across the port of Brisbane.

POINT CARTWRIGHT & BRISBANE ROADS ANCHORAGE
Operations returned to normal port procedures.

FISHERMAN ISLAND OPERATIONAL LIMITS
- UKC managed utilising SUKC values for all drafts 11.5m and above between STS and Fisherman Island. Inner Bar now at 13.2m.
- 1 tug escort from/to Coffee Pots – Only for vessels that have been alongside prior to 02 March.
- No bow/stern thruster replacement for tug due to debris. Additional tugs as per normal pilotage assessment process and advised directly to agent.
- Quay line separation returned to normal procedures.
- Normal scheduling procedures in use.

BRISBANE RIVER, UPSTREAM OF PELICAN BANKS TO GATEWAY BRIDGE OPERATIONAL LIMITS
- Daylight Operations above FISB – Under continuous review.
- Draft managed as per Port Procedures and SUKC.
- 2 tugs for all movements, no bow/stern thruster replacement. Additional tugs as per ongoing pilotage assessment.
- LOA 200m – Under continuous review pending debris/survey clearance in Pinkenba swing basin.
- Day and night movements from this evening (17 March).
- Normal scheduling procedures in use noting above operational limits.

BRISBANE RIVER, UPSTREAM GATEWAY BRIDGE OPERATIONAL LIMITS
- Daylight only, to be reviewed following first swing.
- UKC managed utilising SUKC values for all drafts 7.6m and above using the Hamilton Swing Basin.
- Minimum 2 tugs for all movements, no bow/stern thruster replacement. Additional tugs as per ongoing pilotage assessment.
