The Department of Naval Commerce, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, has issued a Flag Waiver Notice stating that according to the Bangladesh Flag Ship (Protection of Interests) Act 2019, the ship owner or his representative, charterer, cargo owner or their representative must make an online application for the Certificate of Waiver. According to this Act, the ship owner or his representative shall apply to the prescribed authority at least 15 working days before loading the goods.
