Fees for transhipment operations at sea

Togo’s Minister of Maritime Economy, Fisheries and Coastal Protection has set rates for transhipment operations at sea, offshore Lomé, effective from 1 August.

All vessels calling at offshore (Togolese water) must pay IN and OUT clearance, as follows:
- IN clearance at Euro 182.94
_OUT clearance at Euro 76.225
Togo flag vessels:
- IN clearance at Euro 152.45
- OUT clearance at Euro 38.11

Environment dues:
Applied for both discharging and loading vessels:
- Euro 0.115 x vessel’s gross tonnage (GRT)
Togo flag vessels
- Euro 0.07625 x vessel’s gross tonnage (GRT)

All discharging vessels must pay the Maritime Dues per STS operation:
- Euro 0.46 x vessel’s gross tonnage (GRT) and minimum to be paid is Euro 1524.49 (x of 1 000 000)
Togo flag vessels
- Euro 0.419 (x of 275) x vessel’s gross tonnage (GRT) and minimum to be paid is Euro 1143.37 (x of 750 000).

The above mentioned charges are compulsory.

Customs tax tariff to be applied from 1 July will be added afterwards to the rates already fixed in this decree:
> Up to 10.000 will be charged at Euro 0,305/tn
> 10k and above will be charged at Euro 0,229/tn

The Autonomous Port of Lomé (PAL) is not involved in the payment platform and the fees for Shelter Security (x of 1,000,000 or Euro 1525.49 per fortnight) and Port Security (x of 65,596 or Euro 100 per fortnight) remain in force.
