Two Restricted Areas will be established in Victoria Harbour off the West Kowloon Cultural District to facilitate a drone show and a Pyrotechnic Special Effect Materials (PSEMs) show respectively.
Restricted Area 1 for the drone show will be established on 25 (rehearsal) and 26 (event day) April 2025, from 1800 hours to 2200 hours, bounded by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (D) and the adjacent shoreline:
(A) 22 deg. 17.983’N / 114 deg. 09.258’E
(B) 22 deg. 17.974’N / 114 deg. 09.202’E
(C) 22 deg. 18.043’N / 114 deg. 09.202’E
(D) 22 deg. 18.055’N / 114 deg. 09.258’E
The PSEMs will be discharged from 2 firing barges within Restricted Area 2. Restricted Area 2 will be established on 26 April 2025, from 1500 hours to 2200 hours, bounded by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (E) to (H):
(E) 22 deg. 17.915’N / 114 deg. 09.531’E
(F) 22 deg. 17.753’N / 114 deg. 09.531’E
(G) 22 deg. 17.753’N / 114 deg. 09.292’E
(H) 22 deg. 17.915’N / 114 deg. 09.292’E
During the aforementioned periods, no vessels, other than Government launches or the firing barges, will be allowed to enter or remain within the Restricted Areas. All vessels navigating in the vicinity should keep away from the Restricted Areas.
