Establishment of restricted areas

Two restricted areas will be established between 0800 hours on 25 August 2021 and 2359 hours on 25 October 2021, in Victoria Harbour off North Point Promenade to facilitate the functions in connection to the “Via North Point Festival”. An artwork will be displayed onboard a floating structure inside each restricted area during the period mentioned above.

The restricted areas are formed by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum): from (A) to (D) and (E) to (H):

(B) 22〫17.600’N 114〫11.936’E

(C) 22〫17.593’N 114〫11.938’E

(D) 22〫17.590’N 114〫11.924’E

(E) 22〫17.602’N 114〫11.964’E

(F) 22〫17.603’N 114〫11.977’E

(G) 22〫17.597’N 114〫11.978’E

(H) 22〫17.595’N 114〫11.965’E

Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights will be laid at the above co-ordinates to indicate the boundaries of the restricted areas. In addition, floating barriers will be laid to surround each restricted area.

During this period, no vessels, other than Government launches, will be allowed to enter or remain within the restricted areas. All vessels navigating in the vicinity should keep away from the restricted areas.
