Establishment of Restricted Area off North Point Promenade

A restricted area will be established between 0800 hours on 10 February 2023 and 2359 hours on 20 February 2023, in Victoria Harbour off North Point Promenade to facilitate the functions in connection with the “Eastern District Cultural Festival”. A floating artwork will be displayed inside the restricted area during the period mentioned above.

The restricted area is formed by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (D):
(A) 22 deg. 17.597’N / 114 deg. 11.935’E
(B) 22 deg. 17.600’N / 114 deg. 11.952’E
(C) 22 deg. 17.593’N / 114 deg. 11.952’E
(D) 22 deg. 17.590’N / 114 deg. 11.935’E

Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights will be laid at the above co-ordinates to indicate the boundaries of the restricted area. Besides, floating barriers will be laid to surround the restricted area.

During the aforementioned period, no vessels, other than Government launches, will be allowed to enter or remain within the restricted area. All vessels navigating in the vicinity should keep away from the restricted area.
