Establishment of Restricted Area north of Shelter Island

From 0930 hours to 1330 hours on 29 November 2023, a Restricted Area will be established to the north of Shelter Island for conducting an exercise led by the Civil Aviation Department.

The Restricted Area is formed by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (E):
(A) 22° 20.500’N / 114° 17.000’E
(B) 22° 20.500’N / 114° 18.000’E
(C) 22° 20.000’N / 114° 18.500’E
(D) 22° 19.500’N / 114° 17.500’E
(E) 22° 20.000’N / 114° 17.000’E

Launches of the Marine Department will patrol or be stationed in the vicinity of the Restricted Area.

During the aforementioned period, no vessels, other than Government launches and exercise participants, will be allowed to enter or remain within the Restricted Area. Masters, coxswains and persons-in-charge of all vessels navigating in the vicinity should keep away from the Restricted Area.
