Establishment of Restricted Area & closure of landing steps off Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade

A Restricted Area will be established on 17 July 2024 (rehearsal) and 20 July 2024 (event day), from 1700 hours to 2030 hours, in Victoria Harbour off the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade to facilitate a drone performance.

The Restricted Area is bounded by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (D) and the adjacent shoreline:
(A) 22 deg. 17.972’N / 114 deg. 10.982’E
(B) 22 deg. 17.835’N / 114 deg. 11.000’E
(C) 22 deg. 17.702’N / 114 deg. 10.732’E
(D) 22 deg. 17.796’N / 114 deg. 10.659’E

During the aforementioned periods, no vessels, other than Government launches, will be allowed to enter or remain within the Restricted Area. Besides, the public landing steps within the Restricted Area will be closed to all vessels, except Government launches engaged in official duties or vessels with the permission from the Director of Marine.

In the event of inclement weather or emergency, the fallback dates of the rehearsal and event day would be 18 July 2024 and 10 August 2024 respectively.
