Establishment of Restricted Area & closure of landing steps off Lei Yue Mun

From 1400 to 1700 hours on 14 March, from 1000 to 1300 hours on 17 March, and from 1200 to 1800 hours on 26 March, a Restricted Area will be established off Lei Yue Mun for conducting an emergency response and rescue exercise.

The Restricted Area is formed by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (E) and the adjacent shorelines:
(A) 22 deg. 17.284’N / 114 deg. 14.204’E
(B) 22 deg. 17.271’N / 114 deg. 14.194’E
(C) 22 deg. 17.299’N / 114 deg. 14.124’E
(D) 22 deg.17.371’N / 114 deg. 14.124’E
(E) 22 deg. 17.371’N / 114 deg. 14.233’E

Other than Government launches, no vessels will be allowed to enter or remain within the Restricted Area. All vessels navigating in the vicinity should keep away from the Restricted Area.

During the aforementioned periods, the landing steps of Sam Ka Tsuen Landing No. 3 (KP015) will be temporarily closed. Masters, coxswains and persons-in-charge of vessels are advised to use other landing steps in the vicinity.
