From 0800 hours on 21 November 2024 to 1800 hours on 25 November 2024, a Restricted Area will be established off Kennedy Town as part of the security and public safety arrangements in connection with a special event.
The Restricted Area is formed by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (D) and the adjacent shoreline:
(A) 22 deg. 16.905’N / 114 deg. 07.193’E
(B) 22 deg. 17.090’N / 114 deg. 07.029’E
(C) 22 deg. 17.293’N / 114 deg. 07.427’E
(D) 22 deg. 17.034’N / 114 deg. 07.596’E
No vessels, other than Government launches and vessels engaged in the said event, will be allowed to enter or remain within the Restricted Area during the aforesaid period. Masters, coxswains and persons-in-charge of all vessels navigating in the vicinity should keep away from the Restricted Area.
Marine Department and Marine Police patrol launches will be deployed to regulate marine traffic during the aforesaid period. Vessels navigating in the vicinity shall comply with any directions given by the Marine Department and Marine Police patrol launches.
The public landing steps within the Restricted Area will be closed to all vessels.
Masters, coxswains and persons-in-charge of all vessels should use other landing steps in the vicinity.
