Establishment of Restricted Area and closure of landing steps

A Restricted Area will be established on 7 March (rehearsal) and 10 March (event day) 2025, from 1800 hours to 2300 hours, at the waters off Wan Chai Promenade to facilitate a drone performance.

The Restricted Area is bounded by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (D) and the adjacent shoreline:
(A) 22 deg. 16.993’N / 114 deg. 10.679’E
(B) 22 deg. 17.142’N / 114 deg. 10.657’E
(C) 22 deg. 17.165’N / 114 deg. 10.829’E
(D) 22 deg. 17.059’N / 114 deg. 10.849’E

During the aforementioned periods, the landing steps of Wan Chai Bypass Landing No. 5 and No. 6 will be temporary closed. Owners and coxswains of vessels are advised to use other landing facilities in the vicinity during the period of closure. Other than Government launches, no vessels will be allowed to enter or remain within the Restricted Area.

Masters, coxswains and person-in-charge of all vessels navigating in the vicinity should keep away from the Restricted Area.

In the event of inclement weather or emergency, the fallback date would be 11 March 2025.
