Establishment of heavy-duty mooring buoys for steel-hulled fishing vessels

Four heavy-duty mooring buoys for steel-hulled fishing vessels will be established in the Aberdeen West Typhoon Shelter to assist them to berth securely under adverse weather conditions. The mooring buoys laying works will be carried out on 10 January 2024 for a period of approximately 1 week.

The names and positions of the mooring buoys are as follows.

AWTS 1
22 deg. 14.780'N /114 deg. 08.748'E

AWTS 2
22 deg. 14.790'N / 114 deg. 08.785'E

AWTS 3
22 deg. 14.732'N / 114 deg. 08.782'E

AWTS 4
22 deg. 14.745'N / 114 δεγ. 08.818'E

The four mooring buoys are all within the existing berthing areas.
