On the occasion of Eid-e-Miladunnabi, a holiday will be observed in all operational workplaces of Traffic Department of Chittagong Port Authority (including Pangaon ICT and Dhaka ICD).
From 08.00am on Thursday 28 September to 08.00am on Friday 29 September, a general holiday will be celebrated.
With the approval of the Customs Department and the Port Authority, work can be done on the ships/lighters during the holidays under special arrangements and subject to payment of additional charges as per rules. ln order to carry out commercial activities related to food, relief and other important items, the Director (Traffic) or his subordinates should be informed in advance.
Necessary arrangements including booking of adequate manpower will be taken in the interest of conducting all the operational activities under the Traffic Department (including Pangaon ICT and ICD in Dhaka) at that time.
The Booths of Janata Bank, One Bank and other banks approved by the Chittagong Port Authority along with Janata Bank, one Bank in the interior of the port and the Sonali Bank located in the custom house, the concerned branches of the customs department and all the private depots were requested to maintain the required number of manpower in the interest of conducting operational activities in a fair manner.
