Dredging works

This is a revision of Port Marine Notice No. 081of 2020. The working period has been extended and the list of craft and working areas have been revised. The work will now be conducted from 06 May 2021 to 05 November 2021 at Temasek Fairway, within the working area bounded by the following coordinates:

5) 01° 15·216'N / 103° 39·368'E

8) 01° 14·714'N / 103° 39·571'E

9) 01° 14·759'N / 103° 39·683'E

10) 01° 14·170'N / 103° 39·674'E

11) 01° 14·211'N / 103° 39·774'E

12) 01° 14·256'N / 103° 39·885'E

13) 1° 13.667' N / 103° 39.877' E

Work will be conducted 24 hours daily including Sundays and Public Holidays.

Crafts involved in the work will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

Dredging works will be carried out by dredgers, supported by barges, tugs and work boats. A safety boat will be in attendance to warn and direct craft in the vicinity to keep clear of working area.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:

a) Keep well clear of the working area;

b) Maintain a proper lookout;

c) Proceed at a safe speed and to navigate with caution;

d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 22 (Jurong Control); and

e) Communicate with Jurong Control for assistance, if required.
