Dredging works south of Pulau Samulun

Dredging works are being carried out at sea until 28 September 2025, within the working area bounded by the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum):
1) 01°18.194”N / 103°41.687”E
2) 01°17.934’'N / 103°41.715”E
3) 01°17.926”N / 103°41.985”E
4) 01°18.200”N / 103°41.993”E
5) 01°18.200”N / 103°41.972”E
6) 01°17.969”N / 103°41.966”E
7) 01°17.978”N / 103°41.731”E
8) 01°18.194”N / 103°41.709”E

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.35 of 2025, the works are being conducted 24 hours daily including Sundays and Public Holidays.

Soil investigation and dredging works will be carried out by dredgers.

Transportation of dredged materials will be carried out by flat top barges with the assistance of tugboats.

A safety boat will be in attendance at all times to warn and direct craft in the vicinity to keep clear of working area.

Craft involved in the works exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch oh VHF Channel 22 (Jurong Control);
and
e) Communicate with Jurong Control on VHF Channel 22 for assistance, if required.
