Dredging work in Temasek Fairway

The working period for dredging in Temasek Fairway has been extended. The work is now being conducted until 9 November.

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.36 of 2023, the work is being carried out 24 hours daily - including Sundays and Public Holidays - within the working area bounded by the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum):

The dredging work will be carried out by dredgers, supported by barges, tugs and work boats.

The working areas from A-E will be adjusted on a daily basis depending on the traffic in the Temasek Fairway.

Safety boats will be in attendance to warn and direct craft in the vicinity to keep clear of working area.

Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 22 (Jurong Control); and
e) Communicate with Jurong Control on VHF Channel 22 for assistance, if required.
