Mariners are advised that, on or about 9 May, contractors instructed by the operators of Oikos Storage Ltd. will commence dredging operations in the vicinity of Oikos No. 1 Jetty, including the berth box, clearance channel and berth approach area…
…Dredging will be undertaken by dredger AQUADELTA on ebb tides only and is expected to be complete by 16 May.
Requirements for vessels to proceed with caution or at slow speed will be made in accordance with the procedures set out in the Port of London Authority’s Port Information Guide, under ‘London VTS’, ‘Section 4’ with the International Code Flags ‘Romeo Yankee’ displayed. The display of these signals will be in addition to any lights or shapes required under the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea.
Further information will be broadcast as required by London VTS on VHF channel 68.
