Dredging at berth

25 Feb 2025 / Nhava Sheva, India

Nhava Sheva Distribution Terminal (NSDT) has advised that from 1 March, dredging will be conducted at the coastal berth and is expected to take about 3-4 weeks, depending upon the extent of work involved.

During this period, coastal cement vessels will be accommodated at the Shallow Water Berth along with other vessels already declared or calling regularly under a shuttle service. As a result, the terminal is expected to face some pre-berthing delays at the Shallow Water Berth, which they will endeavour to reduce as much as possible.
