A dragon boat racing event will take place off Tsing Yi Northeast Park from 0900 to 1700 hours on 28 May 2023 (Sunday). About 29 dragon boats are expected to participate in the race.
During the aforementioned period, a race area will be formed by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (D):
(A) 22° 21.846’N 114° 05.976’E
(B) 22° 21.822’N 114° 05.985’E
(C) 22° 21.751’N 114° 05.839’E
(D) 22° 21.768’N 114° 05.831’E
Masters, coxswains and persons-in-charge of all vessels navigating in the vicinity should keep away from the race area.
Besides, the landing steps of Tam Kon Shan Road Landing No. 1 will be temporarily closed from 0800 hours on 27 May 2023 to 2000 hours on 28 May 2023. Owners and coxswains of vessels are advised to use other landing facilities in the vicinity during the period of closure.
