Dismantling of old RMQCs

02 Feb 2021 / Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust, India

JNPT has started on site dismantling work of old RMQC-10, 11 & 12 at Shallow Water Berth (SWB) w.e.f. 27/01/2021. The dismantling work is expected to take around 45 days. During the dismantling work, vessels will be berthed only at one berth i.e. at SWB-03.

Also, during hot work, no liquid cargo vessels can be berthed at SWB03. JNPT will take all necessary steps to accommodate all the liquid cargo vessels in transit and destined to JNPT. However, there may be some delays in berthing of liquid cargo vessels as all the vessels have to be accommodated at BPCL Liquid Cargo Terminal.

All are requested to take note of the above and plan liquid cargo vessels accordingly during the period of dismantling of cranes.
