28 May 2020 / Yemen
All airports in Yemen are closed, and no crew changes are possible at any of the country’s ports.
The Port Authority of Yemen has taken COVID-19 protective measures for vessels calling at Yemeni ports, as follows:
Aden/Mukalla: Upon arrival of all vessels at Aden Anchorage, the Port Health's doctor will attend onboard and examined all crew member. After inspection, the doctor will give written permission to the port authority for the ship to berth.
The final discussion is subject port authority approval.
Hodeidah/Saleef: All vessels arriving at Hodeidah/Saleef Anchorage must stay for 14 days in quarantine, then be allowed to berth, subject to Port Authority & Port Health permission.
