Construction of subsea pipeline

With immediate effect and for a period of approximately five weeks, construction of subsea pipeline will be carried out at Urmston Road along the following coordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (H):

(A) 22° 25.170’N 113° 54.471’E

(B) 22° 25.326’N 113° 53.983’E

(C) 22° 25.282’N 113° 53.504’E

(D) 22° 25.150’N 113° 53.056’E

(E) 22° 24.925’N 113° 52.631’E

(F) 22° 24.557’N 113° 52.342’E

(G) 22° 24.111’N 113° 52.242’E

(H) 22° 23.337’N 113° 52.246’E

The works will be carried out by two special purpose vessels. One tugboat and four guard boats will provide assistance.

A working area of approximately 600 metres around each special purpose vessel will be established. Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights and radar reflectors will be laid to mark the positions of the anchors extending from the special purpose vessels.

Between the coordinates (C) and (E), a passageway with a minimum width of 340 metres for vessels to pass through the works area will be maintained. Guard boats will be stationed at the passageway to give necessary assistance.

The works will be carried out round-the-clock.

Vessels engaged in the operations will display signals as prescribed in international and local regulations.
