Construction of jetty at Tuas View

The working period for the construction of a jetty at Tuas View has been extended and the working areas revised.

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.036 of 2021 dated 5 May 2021, the work is now being conducted until 4 November - 0700-1900 hours from Monday to Saturday and 0730-1800 hours on Sundays & Public Holidays - within the working area bounded by the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum).

The construction of jetty involves dredging, piling, steel, concrete structural and M&E work. A safety boat will be deployed in the vicinity to warn other craft about the work.

Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear of the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and to navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 22 (Jurong Control);
and
e) Communicate with Jurong Control on VHF Channel 22 for assistance, if required.
