Tourists who want to visit the Komodo National Park tourist area, West Manggarai, East Nusa Tenggara Province, need to bring various requirements documents during the new normal period.
Head of the Komodo National Park Office, Lukita Awang Nistyantara said that the documents must be shown to the officers of the Komodo National Park Office at the screening check at the entry point at the Port of Labuan Bajo.
Travelers must adhere to the requirements of the COVID-19 health protocol, which is to bring documents:
Tourists who do not have the above documents and / or have a body temperature above 37.3 degrees Celsius, may not enter sites in the Komodo National Park.
Tourists must wear face masks, practice hand hygiene by washing hands with soap/disinfectant liquid as often as possible before and after using public facilities or transportation vehicles or on the move.
It is compulsory to bring an environmentally-friendly personal hand sanitizer, a drinking bottle or personal tumbler, apply ethics when coughing and sneeze, and comply with the time entry in force in Komodo National Park.
Tourists must also have life insurance, especially travel insurance, and create a statement of responsibility, stamped related to the safety and security of visitors.
They must ensure distance between individuals when interacting at least one metre and not use or lend personal equipment to others.
Foreign and local tourists must comply with all the rules of the Health Protocol of the Ministry of Health, Local Government and Professional Diving Association.
