Class 1 goods licence approved for Outer Harbour North Terminal

05 May 2021 / Great Yarmouth, United Kingdom

Great Yarmouth Port is now even more enabled to support any project requiring the transport of explosives.

The port has recently been approved an Explosives License that permits the handling of Class 1 Goods in the Outer Harbour Northern Terminal. Previously, the Port was only permitted to handle a small quantity of explosives in the River, limiting the size of vessels calling into Great Yarmouth. This new license for the Outer Harbour will now allow the opportunity for larger vessels to call into the Port and the volume of Class 1 explosives handled has been increased.

This is great news for projects working in the Southern North Sea, and Great Yarmouth Port looks forward in assisting you or your clients International Maritime Dangerous Goods needs.
