To preserve lives and property and enhance community security, Abu Dhabi Maritime urges all users of waterways, sailors and marine operators in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, to adhere to the instructions, guidance and directives issued by the competent authorities before sailing and to exercise caution and comply with all safety requirements, in addition to monitoring weather changes, and follow up on weather forecasts on an ongoing basis, especially in cases of weather fluctuations.
Abu Dhabi Maritime also urges all individuals to communicate in emergency situations with the concerned respond authorities on the numbers (999) and (996).
All seafarers, captains and marine operators must exercise caution and avoid sailing during unstable weather conditions.
