A canoe race will take place on 18 August 2024 (Sunday) along the eastern coast of Hong Kong Island. About 100 canoes are expected to participate in the race.
The race will start from Causeway Bay in Victoria Harbour, then follow a route passing Wan Chai, Cape D’Aguilar to Tai Tam Bay and finish at waters off the Hong Kong Sea School.
Masters, coxswains and persons-in-charge of vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution, giving practical consideration to the contestants. Compliance with the provisions of the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea, 1972 is mandatory.
