Bulk carrier operations at Tuas Terminal Phase 2 Project Area

The working period for Tuas Terminal Phase 2 Project Area has been extended, and the work will now continue until 10 December.

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.54 of 2024, the work is being conducted 24 hours daily - including Sundays and Public Holidays - within the working area bounded by the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum):
A) 1° 13.466'N / 103° 38.003'E (Safety Radius 250m)
B) 1° 13.466'N / 103° 37.699'E (Safety Radius 270m)

During this period, bulk carriers, self-propelled barges and pusher tugs with barges in composite unit carrying sand will be transiting the Temasek Fairway to the Tuas Terminal Phase 2 Finger 3 reclamation project area.

Safety boats will be deployed to warn other craft in the vicinity of the working area.

Craft involved in the works exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

Caution : When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the work area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 22 (Jurong Control);
and
e) Communicate with Jurong Control on VHF Channel 22 for assistance, if required.
